Pros and cons
Pros
+ Very narrow seat, good for installing three in the rear
+ Secur-air head protection and Air Cocoon Technology side impact protection (Air Cocoon Technology only in Astra)
+ Extended rearward facing to approx. 30 months
+ Shallow depth in rearward facing
Cons
– Heavy
– Expensive
– No ISOFIX
Bottom line:
The Infasecure Quattro has the claim of being the narrowest 0-4 convertible car seat in the market today. At 42cm wide, it is comfortably narrow enough to fit in the majority of small cars. It doesn’t compromise on safety either, with Air Cocoon Technology in all models across the range and Secur-air side head protection in everything bar the Astra.
It drops a mark by missing out on ISOFIX, is heavy at 9.5kg, and is expensive. Also, common to a few models in the Infasecure range, the styling can be a bit hit and miss in our opinion. Get past that however, and there is a lot to like.
Who this is for:
Parents looking for a super narrow and safe convertible car seat to fit three in the rear in their small car.
