Bottom line:
The Maxi-Cosi Euro Slim is a well-featured convertible car seat at a price point one or two notches below the top of the line seats. It features most of the safety features except for G-Cell torso protection, and also has the convenience of ISOFIX. Extended rearward facing is useful for the most safety-conscious parents.
A small footprint at 46cm width and 49cm depth means it will work in compact cars, but if you have a tiny car, other car seats (e.g. Britax Graphene) are more compact still. Helpfully, Maxi-Cosi have included small welcome touches such as the Harness guides which prevents twisting of the belts.
The Maxi-Cosi Euro Slim is also essentially the same car seat in function as the Maxi-Cosi Vela Slim, but is only available at Baby Bunting.
At $549, it doesn’t stand out in what is a very competitive field but may be good value if found on special.
