Pros and cons

Pros

+ Latest side impact protection technology
+ Clicktight Installation System makes it easy to install
+ Quality fabric options

Cons

– Expensive
– Heavy
– Very deep in rearward facing mode

Bottom line:

Britax’s latest car seat is revolutionary in Australian car seats. Not only does it come with the latest Advanced SICT head & torso safety technology, it also has a brand new installation method with its unique and leading Clicktight installation system. No longer do you have to thread a seat belt through a maze of holes and gaps with a traditional opening or reach behind the crumbs at the seat fold to find the ISOFIX connector. Clicktight lets you simply install the seat by lifting up the hinged seat pan, connecting your seat belt as normal, and closing the seat with a reassuring click. Yes, really, check it out for yourself

With all these features will be lifting extra kilos getting the seat in and out of the car. And in rearward facing mode, at 72.8cm, it is deep. Very deep. Unless you are in a very large car, front passenger prepare to sit with your knees in your chest.

Quality fabric options are available depending on your preference (Plus for memory foam, TEX for NanoTEX moisture/odor repellant) are additional price options. The latest technology and convenience does come at a steep price, but it is worth checking out.

Who this is for:

You want the newest technology, are taking the seat in and out regularly, and have a big budget.
