The Maxi-Cosi Vela Slim is 0-4 convertible car seat at a middle of the range price. It has Air Protect side impact protection for the head but lacks G-Cell torso protection of the latest car seats. Extended rearward facing is also possible, and ISOFIX provides additional convenience for installing the seat when your car has the anchors available..
Slim in the name suggests a small size, which it is, but for the smallest of cars, other car seats such as the Britax Graphene are smaller still.
The Maxi-Cosi Vela Slim is also pretty much identical as the Maxi-Cosi Euro Slim, but is more widely available
At $569, there are plenty of car seats out there in other brands but the occasional sale might catch the eye.
