Pros and cons

Pros

+ The only 5.0 star CREP safety rating capsule
+ Capsule up to 12 months
+ Rigid ISOFIX makes installation much easier (if you have it)

Cons

– Very long, may not fit smaller cars
– Expensive

Bottom line:

The safest baby capsule on the market is not a Britax or a Maxi-Cosi, it is the Nuna Pipa Klik Plus. The only 5 star capsule on the market, it has all of the safety features you would expect in a premium capsule and then some: side impact protection, a combined headrest and harness adjust mechanism that doesn’t require you to rethread the harness to adjust the height, and a unique to Australia rigid ISOFIX connector that makes installation that much easier if you have the anchors in your car. It’s also narrow enough to fit alongside other seats and is rated to last until 12 months.

The downside to the otherwise perfect capsule? It’s very long at 67.8cm, meaning your front passenger may be sitting with their knees up to their chest, and it’s expensive. But if you don’t want to compromise on a capsule, particularly on safety, this is the one to get.

Who this is for:

Parents who don’t want to compromise on getting the safest rated capsule available.
