The Safe-n-Sound Express is a basic, height-adjustable booster seat. Based on the same shell as the Hipod Boston Pro and the Babylove Ezy Fit II (all brands are part of the Britax stable), it also suffers from a low upper height marker at 48cm – the lowest we’ve seen. As a result, your child may outgrow the seat before they are ready to transition into the car’s regular seat. At $99, there’s not much to really expect from the seat but it does sport side impact protection wings in case of an accident and arm rests for comfort. Possibly good if your child is a bit smaller and/or if you need a second seat, but the low upper height marker will limit how much you can use it.
