Pros and cons

Pros

+ Can be used to 10 years
+ Additional 4th point of contact safety
+ Adjustable height, width and depth

Cons

– Expensive for a booster seat (but cheap compared to harnessed seats)
– Standard fabric only

Bottom line:

The Britax Safe-n-Sound Kid Guard is the latest booster seat from Britax and can be adjusted in height, width and depth to fit your growing child. Britax’s Secureguard does help by effectively creating a 4th point of contact by connecting the lap belt to a crotch strap.

Additionally, Active Head Restraint head protection supports safety in the event of a side collision. A booster seat does require the use of the car’s lap-sash belt so proper fitting is essential every time your child sits in the car. If you are looking for safer alternatives consider harnessed car seats.
