✅ 4 reasons to buy
+ The Boori Koto appeals to a lot of parents as being a stylish Scandi-styled modern cot. + The two-tone barley/almond colour scheme fits with many nurseries. + Having two different mattress heights is useful for smaller babies. + Parents valued that the Koto cot was able to be transformed into a toddler bed, but the toddler guard was an additional purchase..
❌ 3 reasons NOT to buy
– The mattress is larger than standard size so parents may have to shop for specially sized fitted sheets. – The cot is good quality but is expensive for what you get. – While the cot is well built and made of solid timber, it doesn’t feel as solid as some of Boori’s more classic designs.
Bottom line:
The Boori Koto Cot is a very stylish two colour Scandi-style cot from Boori. Overall, while its build and weight doesn’t compare to some of Boori’s solid timber cots, its functionality and style are still excellent.
Parents loved that it is able to be converted into a toddler bed without having to buy a separate conversion kit, extending the longevity and usefulness of the cot at no extra cost.
However, on the downside, the mattress is larger than standard which will mean that larger sheets will be needed. It also doesn’t have a dropside which some parents like.
In general, parents liked this cot as a good value convertible cot that fits the decor of most nurseries, and is backed by Boori’s 5 year warranty, but there are a lot of other similar cots that can be found for a better price.
