Bottom line:
The Britax Platinum PRO is the top of the line car seat with Britax’s best safety features available across all car seats. CREP safety ratings of above 4.0 stars demonstrate how safe this seat is. Extended rearward facing also lets you maintain the safer rearward facing position for longer (if your toddler can manage it). Quality fabric options are available depending on your preference (Plus for memory foam, TEX for NanoTEX moisture/odor repellant) are additional price options.
However, in loading up the Platinum Pro with features and safety, it has made the seat enormous. 50cm wide means that you are only ever going to fit 2 in the rear unless you have a giant SUV, and then some.
This is a quality car seat loaded with features but is very expensive and very large.
