Cons

– Must switch to booster mode after about 4 years

Bottom line:

The Infasecure Comfi range is Infasecure’s 6mo – 8yr convertible booster seat range. It is able to be used as a forward facing harnessed seat to approx. 4 years and then convert into a booster seat to about 8 years.

The Comfi represents a reasonable option if you want a seat that can go all the way to 8 years. Also, you can choose from a wide range of fabric colours depending on which model you select. All the models are functionally similar.

However, the limitation with this kind of seat is that when your child hits the middle marker (approx 4 years), you need to tuck away the harness and use the car’s seat belt.

With the advent of Type G harnessed car seats which allow harnessing until approx 8 years, booster seats are an inferior option from a safety point of view.

If you are coming from a capsule, this might be an affordable option for you, and sometimes these seats can be found on significant discount.

But for most people coming from a 0-4 car seat, a better option is a harnessed car seat.

Who this is for:

Parents looking for a convertible booster seat after using a capsule, for a reasonable price

Have you considered these car seats?
