Pros and cons

Pros

+ Rearward-facing, forward-facing and booster all in one
+ Air Cocoon Technology side impact protection

Cons

– Heavy
– No additional features

Bottom line:

The Infasecure Gold Quantum is a completely redesigned version of the original Luxi 0-8 convertible car seat. It is the same base car seat as the Luxi II 0-8 convertible car seat (CS4313) but with Secur-air head side impact protection and different trim. It has a good CREP safety rating in Booster mode. The Active Fabric also wears well. It can work as your only car seat but there are other car seats available which allow for extended rearward facing until 30 months (approx) that might be preferable, such as the Infasecure Grandeur.

Who this is for:

Parents looking for an all-in-one rearward-facing, forward-facing and booster seat to last to 8 years old.
